Kerakeraonna

Kerakeraonna (倩兮女 – Cackling Woman) is a type of yōkai depicted in the Konjaku Hyakki Shūi.

She is depicted as some kind of giantess who is seen cackling over a wall. It appears that Sekien has merged two concepts together in the portrayal of this creature.

A huge character from the Heike Bakemono Taiji and the beauty from China who would peer over the wall of the poet Song Yu’s house. The sight of her causing lots of trouble for the residents there.1
