Amanozako

Amanozako (天逆毎 – Heaven Opposes All) is a type of Yōkai depicted in the Konjaku Gazu Zoku Hyakki by Toriyama Sekien.

She was born from Susano-o after his chest filled with rage and he expelled it. And she herself had a child through virgin birth called Amanosaku.

Her appearance is a mix of human and animal characteristics. A human body with the head of a beast, a long nose and long ears.

It appears she is a very powerful spirit. Should a kami oppose her she would hook them with her nose and then run with them for 1000 ri (2500 miles) and she could destroy swords with her teeth.
