Mikawa Province
Mikawa Province (三河国) was one of the many provinces of Japan.
Nara Period
Priest Manzei was made General of Owari, Mikawa and Shinano Provinces.1
Azuchi-Momoyama Period
Takeda Katsuyori invade the province, going against Tokugawa Ieyasu,2 however here he was routed by Ieyasu and Oda Nobunaga at the Battle of Nagashino in 1581.23
