Kōzuke Province

Kōzuke Province (上野国) was one of the many provinces of Japan.2

Legendery Period

Prince Hikosajima is said to have been buried here after falling ill and passing away.

Azuchi-Momoyama Period

During the life of Takeda Katsuyori he ruled as daimyō over the Kai, Shinano, Suruga and Kōzuke Provinces.1
