Izunome
Izunome (Holy Woman – 伊豆能売) is mentioned in the kojiki (and not the nihongi) as the last of three to be born from Izanagi remedying the evil of Yomi from his body whilst bathing in the Tachibana River.
She is not explicitly stated to have been a Shinto kami and perhaps may have merely been a medium of some kind associated with carrying out healing through exorcism.1
