Harima no Inabi no Ōiratsume

Harima no Inabi no Ōiratsume (播磨稲日大郎姫) was the Empress of Emperor Keikō and together they had several sons called Ōsu, Osu1 Kushitsunuwake and Kamukushi.13

An alternative writing in the nihongi says they also had another son called Wakayamatoneko (who is generally considered the son of Yasakairihime) and this is also see in the kojiki where a ‘Yamatoneko’ is said to have been one of her sons.13

She was made Empress in the 2nd Year, Spring, 3rd Month, 3rd day of her husbands reign passing away in the 52nd year of her husbands reign in ‘Summer, 5th Month, 4th Day.1

She is said to have been the daughter of Wakatakehiko2 and sister of Inabi no waka Iratsume.3
