Takehi no Muraji

Takehi no Muraji (大伴武日連命), also known as Otomo no Takehi² was a known companion of Yamato Takeru who accompanied him against the Emishi alongside Takehiko and Nanatsukahagi.¹²

During his time with Yamato Takeru, he gives the Yuki Be over to Takehi no Muraji.²

He is also mentioned during the reign of Emperor Suinin. He is said to have been one of the Five Daibu alongside Hikokunifuku, Ohokashima, Tochine no Ōmuraji and Takenumakahawake. They are gathered by Emperor Suinin to talk of the wisdom of the previous Emperor.²
