Konoe no Motozane
Konoe no Motozane (近衛 基実) was a member of the Konoe Family, a descendant of the Fujiwara Clan, living from 1143-1166AD.
He was the son of Fujiwara no Tadamichi and had a son by the name of Konoe no Motomichi.
During his lifetime he was given the role of kampaku in 1159 and later sesshō in 1165.
He was also known as Umezu-dono.1
