Kanayamahime

Kanayamahime (金山毘売神 – Lady Metal Mountain) is a kami born from the vomit of Izanami in her death throws after being burnt by giving birth to Kagutsuchi. This is mentioned in the kojiki.¹

She is the sister of Kanayamabiko and the Engi Rites list shrines to her in Riversides.¹

The nihongi does not mention her.²
