Yomotsukotosakanoo

Yomotsukotosakanoo is a Shinto kami mentioned within an alternative text of the Nihongi. It states that this kami came into being after Izanagi and Izanami departed and divorced each other in Yomi.

Izanagi ‘purifies himself’ which produces the kami Yomotsukotosakanoo, this is immediately after he has spat upon the ground giving birth the kami Hayatamanoo.¹
