Takiribime

Takiribime (Lady Mist), also known as Okitsushimahime (Lady Offshore Isle) is a Shinto kami and one of the kami of Munakata. She is the first of three sisters born from the sword of Susano-o after being chewed up and spat out by Amaterasu.12 There is one alternative version in the Nihongi where this kami is birthed from the sword of Amaterasu, who chews and spits it out herself (perhaps in this context this kami is a daughter then of Amaterasu).2 The main text of the Nihongi calls her Tagoribime.2

The Revised Geneologies says she is a land kami and gives many clans decended from her.1
