Imbe no Hironari
Imbe no Hironari (斎部広成) was a member of the Imbe Clan. In an attempt to regain power and influence for his clan, after they had become eclipsed by the Nakatomi Clan, he writes and publishes the Kogo Shūi in 807.
This book details the Clans achievements as well as myths and legends concerning the Shinto kami.1
