Fujiwara no Kadanomaro

Fujiwara no Kadanomaro (藤原 葛野麻呂) was a member of the Fujiwara Clan living around the late 8th and early 9th century. He was the son of Fujiwara no Oguromaro.

In 804AD he was sent as an ambassador to China, and the Buddhist monk Kūkai went alongside him.1
