Akamatsu Norimura
Akamatsu Norimura (赤松 則村) was the founder of the Akamatsu Family, living from 1277-1350 and father of Akamatsu Norisuke.1
He founded the clan in 1336 after he allied with Ashikaga Takauji2 and assisted Emperor Go-Daigo1 to fight the Kamakura Shogunate; later he was made shugo of Harima.2
In his later life he became a Zen Monk by the name of Enshin.1
