Abe no Munetō
Abe no Munetō (安倍 宗任) was a member of the Abe Clan who lived sometime in the mid 11th century.
He was the son of Abe no Yoritoki and younger brother to Abe no Sadatō.
During the events of the Earlier Nine Years War he defeated the forces of the court at the Torinomi Palisade in 1057, however, in 1062 he surrendered after his brother was killed.
Afterwards he was exiled to Iyo Province in 1064 and later Dazaifu (Kyushu).1
