Emperor Keitai

Emperor Keitai (継体天皇) was the twenty-sixth Emperor of Japan. If the records are true he had his son Ankan when he was only 13 years old.

Reluctantly he accepted the throne as a middle-aged man, however, it is said:

he loved the people and was courteous to men of worth. He was of a generous disposition.

He married a daughter of Emperor Ninken and took eight concubines. He is also the first Emperor to abdicate, though he was 82 and on his deathbed at the time.1

    Wan’i

    Wan’i also known as Wangin1 (王仁, 和邇吉師) was a Chinese Scholar who is believed to have been welcomed at the court of Emperor Ojin, it is known that Chinese was adopted by the Imperial Court during the reign of the following Emperor Nintoku.2

    He was also appointed as a tutor to a Japanese Prince and was employed to keep accounts of the Treasury.1

    Empress Jingu

    Empress Jingu (神功天皇) also known as Jingu Kogo (神功皇后)1 and Okinagatarashihime (息長帯比売命)23 (c.201-269AD1) was the mother of the fifteenth Emperor Ojin.

    She was a part of the Imperial Family before her marriage to Emperor Chuai as she was a daughter of the Imperial Prince Okinaga no sukune. Her mother was Kadzuraki no Takanukahime.23

    During her reign she carried out conquests against the lands of Silla, with the Shinto kami Nakatsutsuo, Uhatsutuso and Sokotsutso watching over this land after her exploits there.2
