Mount Ibuki
Mount Ibuki (伊吹山) is located in both Gifu and Shiga Prefectures.
Legendary Period
It is the apparent mountain Yamato Takeru visited in the hopes of killing barehanded the kami that dwelt upon it. However, the kami unleashes a hailstorm, which ultimately kills Takeru.1
