Chigaeshinoōkami

Chigaeshinoōkami (道返之大神 – Great Spirit Road Retreat) is the Shinto kami of the boulder that Izanagi places in front of the entrance of Yomi so his wife Izanami cannot pursue him.¹²

This kami has the alternate names of Fusagarimasuyomotsutonoōkami (Great Spirit Athwart the Underworld)¹ and Yomidonifusagaruhokami (黄泉戸大神).²
