Amenohatorihime
Amenohatorihime (Weaver Woman of Heaven) is a kami from Shinto Mythology. In the Kojiki it is said she was weaving in the weaving hall of Heaven with Amaterasu when Susano-o threw a pie-bald colt which had been flayed backwards from its tail into the weaving hall.
In fright she stabs herself in the genitals with her weaving shuttle and kills herself.1
She is not mentioned in the main text of the Nihongi.
