Amehitotsubashira

Amehitotsubashira

Amehitotsubashira (天比登都柱 – Single Pillar of Heaven) was the Spirit that dwelt on the island of Ikinoshima mentioned in the Kojiki. The Spirits name suggests a sailor seeing an island distantly upon the horizon.1
