Akiguinoushi
Akiguinoushi
Akiguinoushi (飽咋之宇斯能神 – Master Filled Full) was the sixth of 12 Shinto kami born from Izanagi removing items from his body after wanting to wash and cleanse himself after visiting Yomi. This kami was formed from his hat and this is all related in the Kojiki.1
The Nihongi calls this kami Akigui and states they were the fourth of five born from the clothes of Izanagi. It also says they were not born from his hat, but his trousers.2
