Wakahirume

Wakahirume (稚日女尊) is a Shinto kami mentioned in the Nihongi.

She is seen in an alternative writing of the Nihongi where she is startled by the acts of Susano-o whilst in the Weaving Hall of Takamagahara. She injurues herself on the weaving shuttle and dies, causing Amaterasu to hide in the Sacred Rock Cave.¹
