Mount Hiei
Mount Hiei (比叡山) is a mountain located on the border between Kyoto and Shiga Prefectures standing at a height of 848 metres. On the eastern slope you can find the temples of Enryakuji and Hie Shrine.12 Hie Shrine houses the diety of Enryakuji called Ō-Yamakui.2
