Kazamotsuwakenooshio (風木津別之忍男神 – Grand Man Lord Wind Bearer) was a house spirits. He was the seventh of ten Spirits created after Izanami and Izanagi had created the Eightfold Isles and the six subsequent isles, according to the Kojiki. Nothing more is mentioned of him.1
The Nihongi does not give a name to this deity, simply stating:
Izanagi and Izanami then produced the sea, the rivers, and then the mountains, after the Eightfold Isles.2
The name is thought to be suggestive of a shelter of some kind which is strong enough to withsands a gale.1
