Emperor Bidatsu
Emperor Bidatsu (敏達天皇) was the thirtieth Emperor of Japan.
During his reign there were several court power struggles with the Soga Clan as more Buddhist scriptures, images, priests and nuns arrived from Korea. Bidatsu wavered between Buddhism and Shinto throughout his reign, finally dying of pestilence aged 47.1
