Kujō Norizane

Kujō Norizane (九条 教実) was a member of the Kujō family, a descendant of the Fujiwara Clan.

He was the son of Kujō Michiie living from 1210-1235AD.¹

Kujō Michiie

Kujō Michiie (九条 道家) also known as Fujiwara no Michiie (藤原 道家) was a statesman and part of the Kujō family, a descendant of the Fujiwara Clan, living from 1193-1252.¹

He was the son of Kujō Yoshitsune and father to Kujō Yoritsune, Kujō Norizane, Nijō Yoshizane, Ichijō Sanetsune and Kujō Sonshi.²

In 1221 he was made sesshō and by 1228 held the role of kampaku.¹
