Konoe Kanetsune

Konoe Kanetsune (近衛 兼経) was a member of the Konoe Family, a descendant of the Fujiwara Clan.

Living from 1210-1259AD he was the son of Konoe Iezane.¹

Konoe Iezane

Konoe Iezane (近衞 家実) was a member of the Kanoe Family, a descendant of the Fujiwara Clan, and held the position of Stateman during his lifetime which spanned from 1180-1283.¹ He was the son of Konoe Motomichi and father of Konoe Kanetsune, Konoe Chōshi and Takatsukasa Kanehira.

He was the ancestor to the Takatsukasa Family.¹
